Ants

Nests in soil under slabs, in wall voids, under mulch, and in decaying wood; foragers enter structures through gaps seeking sugar, protein, and moisture. A single colony can hold thousands of workers. Scout ants leave scent trails that guide others to food.

Ants are very common in Lexington yards and homes. Warm spring weather brings colonies out.
